Harry Potter Logo Snowflake

This is my first attempt at trying to craft a logo snowflake and it was to be for a friend that is a Harry Potter fan.  Although I used plain copy paper, I believe the result would turn out better if heavier paper or card stock is used.

 Supplies:
-   Plain copy paper, scrapbook paper or card stock
-   Scissors
-   X-Acto Knife
-   Pen or pencil
-   Tape
-   Thread or string (optional)
-  Glitter glue (optional)

Fold the paper into quarters and draw out the logo. If you are going to add glitter glue, I would recommend adding before cutting out.

Cut around the lettering and outside edges.  I was able to use scissors up to the point shown.  To cut out the center at the top, I folded slightly and cut with scissors and then stuck in one blade and cut around the inside.  I only had to use the X-Acto knife for the small details.

To hang, cut pieces of thread and tape to the top edges and then to entry way or ceiling or can tape on the wall.

CUTTING CORNERS 2.0 - Decorated Durable Bookmark

This was inspired by "Cutting Corners" by Anna the Ewok here on CO+K but takes it to the next level.
I didn't take pictures of the process as I was going along as this was more of a trial run, but when I make another one I will add them. Based on an original project in a book available here
Items needed:

Estimated cost to make: Under 5 cents

Cut the corners off of the envelope. Prior to cutting, I lined mine up with the edge of the book, folded it up and cut along the fold.
Pick out the images that you want to put on the corner, cut them out and set them aside. I used pictures and description from a sales flier on mine.
Pick out the background you want for the images. I flipped through a magazine until I found what I wanted then put the cut corner over the edge of the magazine page, then cut along the edge. Do this twice I you will need a background for each side of the bookmark.
Glue the background pieces to the envelope corners. Then glue the images cut out that you selected and glue them on top of the background pieces.Allow to dry for a few minutes.
Straighten up any stray edges or uneven edges with the scissors.
Apply packing tape to the images on both side to protect them for smearing, smudges, wear and tear. One tape is applied to both side, you are done!

Entry in to Craftster Challenge 34 - Thrifty & Stylish Wraps - "Wraps from Scraps"

I entered the above challenge with the following:
The Guitar Shaped Gift Bag
This is the guitar gift bag for smaller gifts that was fashioned out of a magazine page, plain paper, a ribbon and glue stick with a template made using old CDs. I posted a How-To on Cut And Keep: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/guitar_shape_small_gift_bag
The Shrektacular Corseted Reusable DVD Wrap
This barely made it in on time for the challenge as I had to get batteries for my camera to take pictures.
I had a design sort of in mind before I started to try to prevent peeking by making it hard to get into and it worked out well, but as I wasn't sure it would work out at all I didn't document the process as I went and now will backtrack to make a tutorial.
Recycle Gift Wraps From Magazine and Catalog Pages:
I also posted recycled wraps from magazines and catalogs. I posted a How-To on this at Cut And Keep:
WRAPS FROM RECYCLES BAGS AND PAPER Here are wraps made out plastic bags with the tags made out of paper. The idea for the plastic bags were from the following:
